Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. And we have confidence in the Lord touching you that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
2 Thessalonians 3:1-5 (KJV)

To wait, expect, look for, wait expectantly, watch, and hope for. Many do not like the word wait, mostly when you do not know exactly how long. As the Lord ascended to Heaven from the mount of Olive His last word to the disciples was wait, tarry. None of them knew how long but they knew what to wait for! Many of us do not have the proper waiting attitude, some wait nervously, some wait faithlessly.  Many are really no more eagerly waiting for the coming of the Lord, but He is coming and that very very very soon.
Yours in Christ, pastor Festus.
