And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it. And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.
Exodus 25:1-2, 8-9, 40
God’s heart was broken when He walked into the garden of Eden, as His custom was, to fellowship with His best friend, only to discover that man has joined alliance with His arch enemy, Satan! The separation was more painful to God. But as a true lover, He embarked on a very sacrificial journey to regain back the object of His love. Love of the Spirit is eternity deep. And God paid the ultimate price to regain eternal intimacy with man. When God’s hunger for fellowship is matched with man’s quest for God’s presence, not even hell can stand in the way.
