Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2 Timothy 2:19-22
In the Kingdom of God, we are all born equal. We were all sinners, lost, and on our way to hell but then the grace of God that brings salvation was showered upon all of us in abundance and we all became the children of the living God. Blessed be His holy name. From then on, we are no more equal, a difference begins to emerge. It is then left to each one of us if we choose to grow or not. Just like in the world, so also in the kingdom of God. It is left for you if you choose to add value to your life or leave it at the basics. We can by the grace of God grow to become vessels of honor, prepared and ready for the Master’s use. The new year brings new possibilities for us to grow. Increase and advance gloriously in the things of God and become vessels of honor.
